How the harbor is kept

House rules

Europa is a curated marketplace for real goods and services from business owners of European heritage. Shops are interviewed before placement. After that, each new listing and each vendor photo is reviewed before it goes live.

What may be offered

Honest work from a person or a small shop: things you can make, mend, grow, print, cook, or do. No stolen goods, no adult listings, no get-rich schemes, and nothing that pretends to be someone else’s shop.

What must be local

If the work needs you in the room — plumbing, a hem, a garden visit, most household trades — it must be marked local, with a city and how far you will travel. Customers will only see it near that area.

What may ship

Goods, and work that can be posted (a strap, a radio, a garment for mending), may be marked as shippable or “visit or post.” Those stay visible when someone is far away.

Remote work

Digital or paper work that does not need a street — typesetting, some design, some print jobs — may be marked remote.
